About
Local government meetings decide things that affect people’s daily lives — zoning, parking, schools, public safety — but the recordings are long, rarely indexed, and easy to miss. Civic Meetings exists to make that record searchable, so anyone can find out what was actually said and decided without watching hours of video.
The project is currently in an early pilot stage, covering Massachusetts municipalities only. Expect rough edges: some meetings aren’t indexed yet, and the interface and coverage are both actively evolving.
