Ask a question the way you'd ask a person — no special search syntax needed. Civic Meetings searches across every transcribed local government video it has indexed to find the parts that are relevant to what you asked.
2. Read sourced answers
You get a clear, synthesized answer along with the direct quotes it's based on, each attributed to the speaker who said it. Nothing is presented without a quote you can check against the source.
3. Jump to the exact moment
Every quote links to the moment in the video where it was said, so you can watch the full context for yourself instead of taking the summary on faith.
Transcripts come from YouTube captions where available, and from local transcription (whisper.cpp) for videos that don’t have captions — so coverage isn’t limited to meetings that happen to have captioning turned on.
